This afternoon, a representative from J. A. Moody and a representative from DPX Enterprises, Inc. came to Bristol Harbor Group, Inc. (BHGI) to host a lunch and learn and to discuss the options for fiberglass pipe for the use in the ballast systems.
The construction of a 26K BBL oil barge designed by Bristol Harbor Group, Inc. (BHGI) is in progress at Senesco Shipyard in North Kingstown, Rhode Island.

In 2013, Bristol Harbor Group, Inc. was awarded a contract by the New York Power Authority (NYPA) to engineer, design and perform construction supervision support services for two new tug vessels. The tugs will be used primarily for deployment, retrieval and maintenance of an ice boom annually installed near the outlet of Lake Erie to help protect NYPA’s hydroelectric plant intakes on the Niagara River from heavy ice flows.

Bristol, RI – April 24th, 2015 – Bristol Harbor Group, Inc. (BHGI) is currently completing the detail design phase of a 399’ x 74’ x 30’ 80,000 BBL double hull oil tank barge and a 120’ x 40’ x 18’- 6” twin screw ocean service tug. Both vessels are currently being built under ABS survey at Conrad Shipyard, L.L.C. in Amelia, LA with a 2015/2016 delivery date. The new ATB the Gulf Venture and Gulf Carrier will be operated domestically and internationally by John W. Stone Oil Distributor. It will be used to support the continually expanding shore bases as well as offshore operations. She will be capable of transit and delivery of various marine fuels and associated products.
Bristol, Rhode Island – April 6th, 2015 – Bristol Harbor Group, Inc. (BHGI) was recently awarded an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for naval architecture and marine engineering services for the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Marine Design Center.
