Bristol, Rhode Island – February 6^th, 2020 – On January 29th, Greg Beers, P.E., President, and Cory Wood, Vice-President, of Bristol Harbor Group, Inc. (BHGI) gave a presentation at the SNAME New England Section meeting called “Designing and Building Center Console Boats”. They spoke about the design and build process of the new Vanquish 23 Bristol Harbor Series. Vanquish Bristol Harbor Series are semi-custom premium vessels, from 21 to 23 feet, that include center console and cuddy cabin models. They discussed the design tradeoffs necessary to balance the demands of safety and efficiency with a range of potential customers and applications. Additionally, they spoke about several of their recent experiences with advanced technologies including LNG and energy storage (batteries), and work for NASA.
