BHGI Wins Award from WorkBoat Magazine

The vessel was designed for the US Army Corps of Engineer’s Wilmington, DE district and built by Conrad Industries at their Morgan City, LA facility. The 156’ dredge was delivered earlier this year and will operate in small, shallow inlet and river areas. She is ABS classed and USCG Subchapter I certified, with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure. Propulsion is provided by twin 760hp Cummins with ZF HRP azimuthing drives with adjustable propeller depth, allowing operation in drafts as shallow as 5’.
