On Thursday, January 21st, Andrew Margarit, director of the marine division at Mascoat, came to Bristol Harbor Group, Inc. to host a lunch and learn. Mascoat provides coatings that insulate and protect industrial, commercial, marine, and automotive substrates around the world. Andrew went over two different types of coatings that Mascoat offers which include Mascoat Marine-DTM and Mascoat Sound Control-dB. Mascoat Marine-DTM is a composite ceramic marine thermal barrier coating that is exlusively designed for thermal and anti condensation protection for the harsh marine environment. Mascoat Sound Control-dB, will provide 100% corrosion protection, but this coating is a sound damping coating. It can be applied to areas such as engine rooms, living quarters, bow thruster areas, etc. Thank you Andrew for coming to our office today and teaching us about what Mascoat has to offer!
