BHGI was contracted by Conrad Shipyard to develop a functional engineering package in support of the construction of a self-propelled 500 CuYd Split Hull Hopper Dredge. The dredge is classed as American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) Maltese Cross A1/Services, and the effort included developing design drawings, stability analyses, finite element analyses (FEA) of the hull hinge pins/foundations and the deckhouse hinge pins/foundations.
