Special Purpose Barge

Bristol Harbor Group, Inc. (BHGI) was contracted to develop a lashing design that helped secure the safe transport of the world’s largest sailing catamaran, HEMISPHERE, safely from Bridgeport, CT where she was built, to Quonset Point, North Kingstown, RI. The lashing plan was to secure the 145’ catamaran to the structure of CATHERINE, a 150’ deck barge. The CATHERINE was designed by BHGI for a past client and was built at SENESCO Marine in North Kingstown, RI.
