Bristol Harbor Group, Inc. is located in a boatyard on the harbor in Bristol, Rhode Island, and is owned and led by Gregory Beers, P.E., and Cory Wood. Formerly known as FG Marine Design, Inc., the company was founded in 1993 in a University of Michigan dorm room, where the founders and two fellow students, while studying in the Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering Department, set out to design a passenger vessel. That early entrepreneurial spirit drove Gregory and Cory to incorporate Bristol Harbor Group, Inc. in 1995. With more than thirty years in business, the company continues to grow.
