HOLLAND
In 2017, Bristol Harbor Group, Inc. (BHGI) was hired by General Dynamics Electric Boat to design the Ocean Transport Barge, HOLLAND, a deck barge designed to support the construction and maintenance of the new Columbia class of submarines. BHGI developed a complete contract level design package that met the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) class requirements. In 2019, Bollinger Shipyards was awarded the contract to build HOLLAND, and BHGI was awarded the contract for engineering support and construction oversight. BHGI worked with Bollinger to review and approve the final design package and any changes during the engineering support phase. HOLLAND was delivered in 2021.
