Marine Engineering Services
Marine engineering focuses on a vessel’s machinery and auxiliary systems. This can include main and auxiliary prime movers (engines), generators, electrical systems, cargo systems (including pumps), ballast systems, fire main systems, potable water systems, sewage systems, etc. Marine engineers primary design and specify the equipment in the main engine room and auxiliary machinery spaces, as well as systems that are found throughout a vessel.
Bristol Harbor Group, Inc. marine engineers have many years of hands on experience, both aboard vessels and in shipyards. This practical experience allows our marine engineers to better understand both operational and technical issues. Bristol Harbor Group, Inc.’s marine engineering practice focuses on the design of new vessels, but our engineers also work on repowerings and mechanical and electrical upgrades.
