BHGI is a full service naval architecture and marine engineering firm located on the harbor in Bristol, Rhode Island. We have been in business for twenty years, and have produced more than 50 unique designs, to which more than 100 vessels have been built. Rhode Island – April 6th, 2015 – Bristol Harbor Group, Inc. (BHGI) was recently
awarded an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for naval
architecture and marine engineering services for the United States Army Corps
of Engineers (USACE), Marine Design Center.
From large z-drive shiphandling tugboats, to small inland towboats, Bristol Harbor Group, Inc. has successful, simple and efficient designs at the ready.

Turnkey design / build projects are another skill that Bristol Harbor Group, Inc. brings to the table. We have completed several "Special Projects" which
have included both design / build and acquisition / modification projects. These are good solutions for time sensitive procurements that do not allow
adequate time for a proper design period prior to construction or modification.
